Going to grandma's funeral on Monday. Will be home Tuesday evening.

Had a pretty big scare today.

I was sleeping in, as per usual...the phone rang a couple times but I didn't think much of it...was too lazy to get up an answer. Mom comes home around one and, turns out, that those phone calls were about Nannie. She was talking nonsense this morning and they'd taken her to the hospital. Mom thought she'd had a stroke.

Turns out it wasn't that: most likely Nannie had taken an extra pill, thinking she'd forgotten to take it at all.

So she's at the hospital now, still confused...and that's been my day.

Locked out of the house. No one else has a key. Have to stay at aunt's house until fuck-off late at night when mom gets home.

Really pissed.

EDIT: Mom brought home Spore! All is well again. :D

So things are kind of slowing down, at least temporarily. I have my own bed again and a working bathroom, though taking showers is an exercise in stealth because of the uncovered window. But it's still a really nice shower. :3

Sunday I'm going to Vegas for three nights, pretty much just to keep my Nannie company, and then on the 26th there's a wedding to go to...and another one in early August. I'll just be glad when it's over with.

SO MUCH FOR COMING HOME TO RELAX.

Memphis is where I am, in a hotel, waiting for the pizza to get here because I am just slightly more hungry than I am tired. Tomorrow the plan is go get all the way to Wichita, and then the final four hours home on Monday. \o/ Poor Laurel's going to be driving another five or so after that, unfortunately. D:

Almost everything is packed now. Just a few odds and ends that I wanted to put into a suitcase rather than locked up in the moving truck, as well as my mattress. Yes, tonight I am sleeping on a mattress. :|

In other news: Lost Odyssey swings wildly between hilarious and hilariously bad. Jansen is the only reason to keep playing that game, srsly. Sarah, Cooke and Mack can jump off a cliff and the game would be much improved. :| I only regret that I probably won't be able to finish it before I have to move. So close, and yet so far...stupid side-quests.

In still other news: I need more icons. Preferably Exalted ones.
